The 5562A IC is used for power management of countless thin-film transistors in the LCD TV panel. The circuit designed by the 5562A IC has a step-down converter for the VGL charge pump, which provides the system's logic voltage, and a step-up converter for the VGH charge pump, which supplies the source voltage. The 5562A IC has an integrated dual charge pump circuit, generating VGH and VGL voltages independently.

The 5562A IC has a unique VCOM and AVDD voltage output arrangement; for DC-to-DC voltage conversion, the pulse generator circuit has a fixed switching frequency of 500 kHz or 750 kHz.

LED TV Companies design different types of circuits in their technology for the power management of TFT LCD panels. They produce different output voltages by increasing or decreasing the circuit's frequency, voltage, and current rate; in this case, resistors, capacitors, and inductors of other values are used in the schematic circuit diagram designed by the 5562A IC.

These two high and low voltages, VGH and VGL, are connected to two pins of the Level Shifter IC.
