What Are the Service Menu and Factory Settings Codes?
TVs have a display and loudspeakers, which are output devices, and their input devices are the remote and TV buttons. Generally, the TV remote can perform all the LED TV functions, but to make some complex settings, the TV processor has to be commanded by inputting codes through some buttons on the remote; those secret codes are service menu codes or factory setting codes.
Important Advice and Cautions
Usually, if you make a wrong setting from the factory setting mode of the LED TV, the TV goes into the burning mode, in which case nothing is displayed on the TV screen; only red, blue, green, and white lights appear on the screen one after the other.
If the TV has a problem due to the careless setup of an unknown option after entering the factory setting mode, unplug it and turn it on again by reconnecting the power to the TV.
If unplugging the TV's AC cord doesn't solve the problem, press and hold the Menu/Power/Source or Input button on the TV body, then plug in the TV and wait 15 seconds.
