What is the 'Code' of the LED TV service menu or factory mode?

An LED TV has a processor, RAM, storage drive, output, and input device. The output devices of LED or LCD

TVs are the display and loudspeaker; the input devices are the remote and TV buttons. Generally, the TV remote can perform all the LED TV functions, but to do some complex settings of the TV, the processor of the TV has to be commanded by inputting the codes through some buttons on the remote; those codes are service menu codes or factory setting codes.

Why is it necessary to open the service menu page on LED TV?

If the main Board of the LED TV is not repairable for any reason, the main board needs to be replaced. After changing the LCD or LED TV board, alignment between the board and the display panel is necessary in many cases. For example, the service mode must be opened to set screen resolution, geographic alignment, screen rotation, flip horizontal and vertical, mirror setting, backlight voltage adjustment, etc.

When the service menu code of an LED TV is inserted by the remote, a menu page of various settings opens on the TV screen, as shown in the figure below.

Some advice on the service menu or factory mode settings

Usually, if you make a wrong setting from the factory setting mode of the LED TV, the TV goes into the burning mode, in which case nothing is displayed on the TV screen; only red, blue, green, and white lights appear on the screen one after the other.

If there is a problem with the TV due to careless setup in an unknown option after opening the factory setting mode, then unplug it and turn it on again by connecting the power to the TV.

If that doesn't solve the problem, unplug the TV's AC cord, Then press and hold the Menu button/Power button/Source or Input button on the TV body, then plug in the TV and wait 15 seconds.
