AUO S302-11 IC Schematic Circuit Diagram Pinout Datasheet

I have observed the S302-11 IC being widely used in 39-inch LED TVs featuring the AUO T390HVN04.0 XL panel. Additionally, this level shifter IC is also found in Sansui, Walton, and VU 42-inch LED TVs. A very common issue in television models using the S302-11 logic level shifter IC is the double image problem. Along with that, flickering images and vertical line distortions frequently occur.

In this article, I will share practical solutions to these issues using the S302-11 IC Schematic Circuit Diagram, detailed signal input and output pin analysis, and an embedded video tutorial. If you are searching Google for the S302-11 IC PDF datasheet and pinout, this guide serves as an accurate and complete practical alternative to standard datasheets.

To better understand how these level shifter signals drive the gate lines and why internal shorts cause display distortions, you can read our comprehensive guide on LED TV Panel Logic Level Shifter: Function, Faults and Repair. This fundamental knowledge will help you diagnose complex panel issues more effectively before applying hardware modifications.

Double Image Repair Solution for AUO T390HVN04.0 XL Panel Using S302-11 IC

From pin 17 of the S302-11 IC, the ODD flip-flop output (-9.6V and 30.7V) connects to the COF through a 200Ω resistor (R607). Similarly, from pin 18, the EVEN flip-flop outputs (30.7V and -9.6V) connect to the COF via another 200 Ω resistor (R608).

Due to internal track short-circuiting inside the panel glass/COF, removing resistors R607 and R608 disconnects the ODD and EVEN signals coming from the IC. By connecting fixed VGL to one free terminal of these resistors and VGH to the other, the double image and screen flickering problems can be permanently resolved.

If you notice no image or screen distortions after performing this modification, simply reverse the VGL and VGH connections between the two resistor pads.
